Secluded, quiet, and a little hidden, nestled in the lush green heart of the forest,
this charming and cozy mountain hut sits at exactly 1,364 meters above sea level.
It lies right at the foot of South Tyrol’s most iconic mountain –
in the middle of the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park.
You can reach us only on foot or by bike.

Hofer Alpl is also known as the Culinary Alpine Hut,
thanks to the excellent reputation of our kitchen.
Our secret? The finest regional ingredients –
especially products from Fiè allo Sciliar, the village just below.
Among our hearty dishes prepared according to traditional recipes,
you’ll also find game meat from our own hunt.

In our cozy dining room or on the sunny terrace,
you can enjoy your meal with a wonderful panoramic view
and in a warm, family-like atmosphere –
true South Tyrolean hospitality.
We, your hosts Nora and Lukas, always take a little extra time for our guests.
